About 100 employees of descended on Camp Cheerful Thursday to make some major improvements.
This is the at the Achievement Centers for Children's camp for disabled kids.
"For us to be able to to this isn't a chore," said Joseph Reyes, senior vice president for quartz and ceramics.
His employees performed a number of tasks, including re-roofing and putting new windows in a cabin, installing heaters in two cabins, scouring and repainting the pool, cutting firewood, widening a path and power-washing and painting picnic tables.
Next year, the company plans to install a ramp at the lake to allow kids to canoe.
"We're one big family as a company," Reyes said.
Mayor Tom Perciak thanked the employees, calling them "an army of angels."
"I'm telling you, from the bottom of my heart, you make a difference," Perciak said.
