Join the 'Malloween' Party at SouthPark and Help 'Scare Away Hunger'

Donate to Food Bank and kids can participate in scavenger hunt

 

SouthPark Mall will have a Malloween Party and Scare Away Hunger Scavenger Hunt on Sunday, Oct. 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

When you donate one or more food items to the Strongsville Emergency Food Bank, you will receive a Trick Or Treat Bag, Scavenger Hunt Passport and all the details for The Scare Away Hunger Scavenger Hunt and SouthPark Malloween Party.

Suggested Items: (plastic jars or cans please)

            - Peanut Butter
            - Jelly
            - Tuna
            - Canned fruit
            - Canned vegetables
            - Pasta

Two food collection areas will be available beginning at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28: in the Cinemark Court (near Auntie Anne's) and in the Dick's Sporting Goods wing (near H&M).

Pre-registration starts Oct. 21 at the Shopping Concierge. You can make your donations and collect your treat bags in advance to avoid waiting in line the day of the Malloween Party.

The party includes:

• Scare Away Hunger Scavenger Hunt -- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., benefiting the Strongsville Emergency Food Bank.

• Spooky Kooky Carnival Games -- 12 to 2 p.m., benefiting the Strongsville High School Marching Band.

• Meet & Greet The Pumpkin Pals -- 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Prelude Photography Picture Station

• Story Time -- 2 p.m., after the prize giveaway
