Mall Donates Time, Activities to Charity

A Kid Again will have breakfast for its families at Westfield SouthPark

A Kid Again, a Cleveland-area charity that assists children with life-threatening illnesses, will a holiday-themed, fun-filled morning for their families on Dec. 10 at .

Westfield SouthPark will provide activities for the kids and will donate breakfast for the families. 

A Kid Again has invited the 97 registered families from the Cleveland area to the event. When the party concludes, the families will collect the gifts that volunteers of A Kid Again have purchased especially for them with donations.

“We have learned what wonderful things A Kid Again does on an ongoing basis for the families. Things like a simple breakfast with Santa can make a difference in a child’s life," Andy Selesnik, the mall's marketing director, said in a news release. "At Westfield SouthPark, we are determined to help make a difference in the lives of families in our community."

A Kid Again strives to enrich the lives of children with life threatening illnesses and their families by providing group activities and destination events.

If there are families in the Cleveland area that have a child with a life-threatening illness, they are encouraged to enroll in A Kid Again at www.akidagain.org

Next year, A Kid Again will host additional activities including a trip to Cedar Point, an Indians game, summer time fishing and other events for the kids and families.
