Peanut Butter Recall Expanded

Heinen's and Target products are also now on the list

The recall of peanut butter sold at Trader Joe's has expanded to include nut butters sold under several different labels nationwide at stores including Heinen's and Target.

This is a voluntary recall by manufacturer Sunland, Inc., due to possible salmonella contamination. All of the recalled products were made at the company's plant in Portales, N.M. So far, only the Trader Joe's Valencia peanut butter has been linked to salmonella.

Recalled products include Heinen's Organic and All-Natural peanut butters (both creamy and chunky), Archer Farms Creamy Almond Butter and Archer Farms Creamy Peanut Butter with Flax Seeds.
