Ribbon-Cutting Set for Discount Drug Mart

New store set to open soon

The new Discount Drug Mart at the corner of Royalton and Prospect roads will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon March 10.

Economic Development Director Brent Painter said that will mark the grand opening of the new retailer, although he expects the store will have a "soft" opening a few days before that.

Drug Mart took over the former Vigliucci's Bi-Rite in the Royalville Plaza and renovated it into a 27,960-square-foot drug store with a drive-through pharmacy.
