Strongsville Mortgage Company Changes Name

The Strongsville mortgage company was founded in 1970.

It isn't a big change but what was formerly known as Union National Mortgage is now Union Home Mortgage.

On May 1, the Strongsville-based company decided to change names to show it is committed to "helping people achieve the dream of home ownership," according to this post on PR Newswire

"We're entering a new phase of home ownership in this country," said Union Home Mortgage CEO, Bill Cosgrove in a prepared statement. "Much has changed in the past several years, but what hasn't is that people need a trusted ally to help them make smart decisions about what is very often their biggest purchase ever. It's an awesome responsibility and we take it very seriously."
