Deadline Extended to Enter Patch's Costume Contest

Don't forget to upload a photo for a chance to win $5,000

THE CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED. 

Because trick-or-treat has been delayed in so many areas due to Hurricane Sandy, the deadline to enter Patch's Best Halloween Costume in America Contest has been extended till Monday, Nov. 5.

In Strongsville, trick-or-treat is 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, so you can snap a photo of your child's costume and enter it that night.

Last year, the , won. This year, it could be you. Grand prize is $5,000!

I accidently uploaded two photos in the wrong patch for the costume contest. I tried to remove them but it wouldn't let me so I croped them out. I live in Ca so I uploaded them in a Ca patch. If you can remove them I would appreciate that. I don't want to submit in the wrong place. Thanks

same here, found Nashau first uploaded, then found my local one strongsville, would not let me remove it so I uploaded to strongsville too, hoping it won't matter since it's an entire America contest.

I agree with tom m. It is not "user friendly" at all! The whole setup and search is…Read More terrible. This new format should be thrown out and the old one put back in place. A look at other Patch editions out of state also have very little comments now. I would much prefer the old Patch, but now a better alternative by far to this new Patch is any of these: http://www.strongsville.com/ and http://www.thepostnewspapers.com/strongsville/ and http://www.cleveland.com/strongsville/ and http://hometownindependent.com/strongsville/
