Domestic Abuse is Topic of Class

Program teaches salon employees to recognize the signs of violence

Local salon employees are invited to attend a domestic abuse training class called Cut It Out, in cooperation with the Ohio Attorney General's Office, on March 14.

The Salons Against Domestic Abuse session is intended to train stylists and other salon professionals to recognize the signs of domestic violence and offer information on what to do when abuse is suspected, but is open to anyone who wants to learn more about the subject.

It is set for 10 a.m. at Spectators Hair Design, 6277 Pearl Road, Parma Heights.
