The flood warning will stay in effect until 1 p.m. The National Weather Service indicated scattered showers may persist this morning, although the heavier storms that dropped 1 to 2 inches of water last night have moved off to the east.

The rainfall, combined with runoff from melting snow, has led to rapid rises in streams and rivers.
