DAR Chapter to Host Reception and Information Meeting

The Hannah Luther Bosworth Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is hosting a reception and informational meeting on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the Strongsville Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library, 18700 Westwood Dr., Strongsville, Ohio.  The focus of this meeting's presentations will be "Today's DAR".  If you have a Revolutionary War patriot in your family tree and are interested in becoming a member of the DAR, please join us for this informative meeting.

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in 1890 to promote patriotism, preserve American history, and support better education for our nation's children.  Its members are descended from the patriots who won American independence during the Revolutionary War.  With more than 165,000 members in approximately 3,000 chapters worldwide, DAR is one of the world's largest and most active service organizations.  To learn more about the work of today's DAR, visit www.DAR.org.
