The Day is Dark: a Thriller.
By Yrsa Sigurdardottir. February 2013, 384 pages.

Already an international bestseller, this new book features Thâora Gudmundsdâottir, a character who is called to Greenland to investigate a mysterious disappearance. Two Icelanders have been working off the coast of a sparsely populated area in Greenland, and have now gone missing. Gudmundsdâottir’s investigations lead her to the fact that another person has since disappeared and the locals of the area are not co-operating for fear there is a curse involved in these mysterious vanishings. Fans of Stieg Larsson will enjoy the twists and turns in this new thriller novel by an Icelandic author.

By Allen Wyler. February 2013, 384 pages.

A famous neurosurgeon is framed for the murder of patients in a Seoul Korea hospital. Hunted by the police and without a passport, he must find his way back to the United States to have a chance to survive. Like Robin Cook, Wyler is a neurosurgeon so medical thriller fans should enjoy this high-octane read.

By James Sheehan. January 2013, 416 pages.
