The Rock 101 Open House at the Strongsville School of Rock on Saturday, Nov. 17th was a rousing success! The new program for beginner music students was rolled out to an enthusiastic group of parents and kids.
Jared Koepp, the Director of the Rock 101 performance program said, "This was a very promising start. The kids are very enthusiastic and looking forward to learning how to play rock & roll songs."
We are still accepting enrollments for the Rock 101 program and as with prospective students we offer a free trial lesson.
The goal of Rock School 101 is to introduce kids to the Rock School experience through 45 minute weekly private lessons and a weekly 1 ½ hour rehearsal with other 101 students. The weekly private lessons are designed to get kids familiarized with their instruments as well as learn basic music theory to help prepare them to participate in rehearsals. Students will be working on 3 or 4 songs during rehearsals.
