School of Rock 'Staring Down The 90's' Program Hitting High Gear
Strongsville School of Rock's current performance program 'Staring Down The 90's' is hitting high gear after just three rehearsals. The show is an overview of the music that was being created in the 90's both here in the states and abroad. Songs are being cast and the group of sixteen has been rehearsing such classics as Blur's 'Song 2', Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit', Rage Against The Machine's 'Killing In The Name', The Cranberries' 'Zombie', and Spacehog's 'In The Meantime'.
"This is a great opportunity to introduce these kids to a generation of music that happened just before their time and they're really enjoying it," said Show Director Jared Koepp.
The performance program will culminate in 2 shows on Saturday, May 11th and Sunday, May 12th at Brothers Lounge on Detroit Rd. in Cleveland.
