School of Rock will celebrate the addition of a third, Cleveland-area location on Saturday, September 22, 2012, when the doors open to School of Rock Strongsville at 16888 Pearl Rd. The Strongsville School joins successfully established, five-year programs in Rocky River and Highland Heights.
According to School of Rock Owner Shelly Norehad, “We have a full slate of activities planned from noon until 4 p.m., complete with guitar-smashing and ribbon-cutting ceremonies to kick off the opening of the new facility. Our ‘Headliners,’ audition-only house band will be featured playing a selection of Rock & Roll, and we are welcoming prospective students and community members to ‘play in’ with the musicians on some open jam sessions.
Norehad explained, “Instructors will be on site to talk with kids and parents. We will also offer T-shirt and CD give-a-ways, and raffle off a free month of Strongsville School of Rock tuition for three students. City Councilman Joe DeMio will also be on hand to assist with grand opening ceremonies and welcome School of Rock to Strongsville.
Strongsville School of Rock’s new General Manger John Koury added, “I love the fact that School of Rock builds students’ confidence, not just musically, but socially as well.”
School of Rock’s new Strongsville location at 16888 Pearl Road is next to “A Taste of Excellence” catering. Rocky River School of Rock is located at 20148 Detroit Rd. in Rocky River. Highland Heights School of Rock is located at 299 Alpha Park in Highland Heights.
