School of Rock's 'Rock 101' Classes Starting Soon

The Strongsville School of Rock on Pearl Rd. will be kicking off its Rock 101 rehearsals on Saturday, Jan. 12th at 10:30am. The new program for beginner music students has been a huge hit at the Rocky River and Highland Heights locations and is now getting off the ground here.

Jared Koepp, the Director of the Rock 101 performance program said, "The Rock 101 program is a great way of teaching children how to play music in the context of a band setting. The kids are very enthusiastic and looking forward to learning how to play rock & roll songs."

We are still accepting enrollments for the Rock 101 program and we offer a free trial lesson to all prospective students.  

The goal of Rock School 101 is to introduce kids to the Rock School experience through 45 minute weekly private lessons and a weekly 1 ½ hour rehearsal with other 101 students. The weekly private lessons are designed to get kids familiarized with their instruments as well as learn basic music theory to help prepare them to participate in rehearsals. Students will be working on 3 or 4 songs during rehearsals.
