School of Rock Rock 101 Open House on Saturday, Nov. 17th at 10:30 am.
The Strongsville School of Rock will be hosting a Rock 101 Open House and Jam on Saturday, Nov. 17th at 10:30 am. Rock 101 is a performance program that helps beginner students master the basics by playing rock music in a group setting. The students learn the basics of technique and theory as well as understanding the dynamics of playing in a group.
The goal of Rock School 101 & 202 is to introduce kids to the Rock School experience through 45 minute weekly private lessons and a weekly 1 ½ hour rehearsal with other 101 students. The weekly private lessons are designed to get kids familiarized with their instruments as well as learn basic music theory to help prepare them to participate in rehearsals. Students will be working on 3 or 4 songs during rehearsals.
