Brother of Robert, George and the late Corwin and Floyd. Cherished grandfather of Geoff, Jill, Joey and Mike. Funeral service was Oct. 25 at Jardine Funeral Home. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park. Dorothy A. Bruce

Dorothy A. Bruce (nee Herman), age 89, passed away Friday Oct. 19, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Rubin. Dear mother of Shirley Thomas (Dennis), David Bruce, Linda Sikora, Noah (Shirley), Bernetta and the late Richard, Thomas, Dennis and David. Loving sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Retired from Towslee Elementary School in Brunswick. Funeral service was Oct. 23 at Jardine Funeral Home. Interment Eastlawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to Southwest Baptist Church 329 N. Carpenter Road, Brunswick, OH 44212.

Carol L. Villanueva

Carol L. Villanueva, 62, passed away Oct. 15, 2012. Loving mother of Eric (Suzanne) and Nicole Sizler (Keith). Sister of Donald Hovorka (Karen) and sister-in-law of Maria Diaz (Victor). Devoted and loving grandmother of Olivia, Jaidyn and Jaxson and was looking forward to meeting her newest grandson, Colin this December. Loving aunt and cousin. Memorial service was Oct. 18 at Jardine Funeral Home. Interment private. Family suggests donations to Cleveland Clinic Hospice 6801 Brecksville Road Suite 10, Independence, OH 44131.

Harriet R. (Pat) King

Harriett R. (Pat) King of Strongsville, died Oct. 13, 2012. Born in Cleveland in 1919 to Leo and Stella Konczal. Married to Charles H. King in Geneva, OH in 1962. Lived in Warren, OH, then Champion OH (for 37 years) and Strongsville. Harriett worked at Rockwell International in Ashtabula and Thompson Aircraft in Elyria. She retired from the Accounts Payable department of Alcan Aluminum Corp. in Warren in 1985. She was a member of St. Williams Church in Champion for 37 years where she was a Eucharistic Minister, and was active in countless other programs. She was a member of St. John Neumann Church in Strongsville for the past 7 years. Survivors include one son Thomas King (Roberta) of Strongsville, two grandchildren, Adrienne Burkholder (Adam) of Chicago, Il., and Jonathan King of Strongsville; one sister Doris Stevens of Middleton, WI, and 10 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles in 2005, her parents, two brothers Henry Konczal of Clearwater FL, Robert Konczal of Scarborough, ME, two sisters, Helen Taylor and Gertrude Johnson both of Geneva, OH, and one niece Susan Sowinski of Clearwater.

There were no calling hours. A funeral Mass was held at St. John Neumann Church Oct. 16. Entombment at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland, OH.
