Mary Toman/Tomanovic, 96, passed away Dec. 29, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Pete Toman. Dear mother of Anita and Mary Ann Toman. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Smith, Stefanie Lytle, Michelle Hellickson and all the Bahle children. Beloved mother to Heidi, Roseann and Beverly. Funeral Mass was Jan. 31 at St. Ambrose Church, Brunswick. Interment St. Theodosius Cemetery.

Dora A. Karr (nee Gallucci), 93, passed away Dec. 26, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Leonard “Babe” Grabowski and the late Harry A. Karr. Cherished mother of Len Grabowski (Carol), Annette Karr, Patricia Karr-Segal and Harry Karr (Dracy). Loving grandmother of Brian (Julie), Todd (Traci), and Stacey Grabowski, Haley Segal, and “Nana” of Emily and Eric Karr. Great-grandmother of Troy, Alexandra, Tyler, Erica, Tara, Brianna, and Shawn Grabowski. Sister of the late Charles, Nick, Lydia, Josephine, Mary, Carmen and Michael. Funeral was Dec. 28 at St. John Neumann, Strongsville.

Barbara C. Beck 

Barbara C. Beck (nee Fleming), 74, passed away Dec. 26, 2012. Loving wife of Donald E. Beck for 55 years. Dear mother of Lorene M. Beck (John Yedlick), Cynthia A. Van Stavern (Jerry), Donna K. Stokowski and Donald E. Beck Jr. Sister of Ted and the late Hank, Alice, Pat, Eddy, Bobby, Tom, Ken and Rori. Beloved grandmother of Lani (Lorne), Bobby (Genesis), Bethany, Kyle (Lizbeth), Amanda, T.J., Alanna, David, Samantha, Donald III, Austin, Danny and Allyson. Great-grandmother of Conley and Logan. Bill H. Young 

Bill H. Young, 83, passed away Dec. 25, 2012. Loving husband of Eleanor for 62 years. Dear father of Susan (Robert), Melanie, Holly, Bill (Louise) and Scott (Kallie). Brother of Betty Colen (the late Frank) and Phillip (Dorothy). Beloved grandfather of Meredith, Sarah, Rachel and Andy. Great-grandfather of Gwendolyn. Loving cousin and uncle to many. Retired after a successful career with the Bendix Corporation. Bill will be remembered for his kind and generous spirit and hard working nature. Funeral was Dec. 29 at the funeral home.  

Jeanette Hill-Vajdich 

Jeanette Hill-Vajdich, 59, passed away Dec. 25, 2012. Dear wife of the late William. Loving mother of Jeff Guber, Danielle Potter (David), Carl Vajdich Jr.(Lori) and Stephanie Tulodziecki (Chris). Daughter of Grace Marie Rooney and the late Edward Joseph Bagley. Beloved grandmother of Hayden, Brady, Gavin, Frankie, Marissa, Landon and Leila. Memorial service was at Jardine Funeral Home.

Ruth E. Dial (nee Marks), 84, passed away Dec. 19, 2012. Loving wife of the late Walter. Dear mother of Barbara McMillin and Linda Bachner (Helmut). Sister of June Linden, Donald (Elaine) and John (Marge). Grandmother of Angela, Michelle and Kathrina. Great-grandmother of Ross. All services private.

Florence Thobe (nee Jirousek), 92, passed away Dec. 19, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Richard. Cherished mother of Winifred Krecow and Sharon Burns (Bob). Preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Henry, and her brother, George. Loving grandmother of Scott, Dan and Erin. Great-grandmother of Samantha. Faye M. Sperber 53 passed away December 19, 2012. Loving wife of Jerrold. Dear mother of Anthony, Daniel and Nathan. Sister of Michael Pescatrice, Gayle Hanisko and Lynda Powell. Funeral service was Dec. 26 at Jardine Funeral Home. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

Irene Frederick 

Irene Frederick (nee Kaminski), 87, passed away December 13, 2012. Loving wife of the late Russell. Devoted mother of Dan  (Sandra), Rick (Anita), Bruce(Barb), and Scott (Julie). Sister of Theresa Schnedetz and the late Henry, Helen Cantlon, Rosemary Michalec and Robert. Loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her family and her lifelong friends “The Challengers.” Funeral Mass was Dec. 17 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Parma.
