Loud Video Game Disturbs Neighborhood; Pacing Man Alarms Resident

The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

Police visited a Bradford Court home three times in two days because of a video game that was so loud it disturbed the neighbors.

Officers warned the resident about the loud game and music early Dec. 28, but were called back at 2 a.m. because the noise level was back up.

The second time, the woman refused to answer the door. A dispatcher called, but the woman who answered claimed not to be the resident, then called back to say the police had the wrong number.

The lights and music went off, though, a report said.

About 1:30 a.m. Dec. 29, police were called back because the video game was blasting again.

Again, no one answered the door, but the music stopped when officers arrived. No one answered the phone, either, so dispatchers left a voice mail.

Pacing Man

A Marks Road South resident was leery of a man pacing in front of her driveway about 7:30 p.m. Dec. 29.

Police followed the man's tracks to another house on Marks, where a resident said he was outside because he's not allowed to smoke in the house.

There was too much snow to walk around the house, he said, so he walked in the street.

Someone's Been Here

Someone visited a shed on Walnut Creek Drive during the night Dec. 27.

Residents found their gate open in the morning, and footprints in the snow leading to and from their shed.

Nothing was taken or damaged, police said.

Suspicious Yellow Car

Two brothers walking on Ruth Drive the afternoon of Dec. 30 were uncomfortable about a yellow car that seemed to follow them for a bit.

The boys, 8 and 12, said the driver was looking at them and driving very slowly.

The car had a white stripe, the boys said.
