Man Comes to Door with Crowbar, Flees When He Sees Girl

Police are looking into an incident on South Churchill Jan. 29 in which a man came to the door and fled when he saw someone inside.

The witness, an 11-year-old girl, told police she thought the man was carrying a crowbar.

A report said the girl was home alone about 2:30 p.m. when a tall man in a blue hoodie came to the door.

He ran away when he saw the girl and her dog looking out the window at him.

Police checked the area, but couldn't find the man. He was described as thin and about 6 feet tall.
