Throwing Garbage

Two people called police about 5 p.m. April 26 about teens throwing food and trash out of their car window at other vehicles.

One woman said she was on Pearl Road near Zverina and had no idea why she was targeted.

The other said kids behind her on Idlewood were trying to get her to go faster.

They threw several items, including a soda bottle that splashed on her car, sending pop through the open wnow and soaking her clothes and the seat.

One girl was hanging out the window yelling obscenities, as well.

Egging

A house on Oakland Park Drive was egged the night of April 27.

Police said the carton was found on the tree lawn across the street.

Smokers Cutting Through

A Falmouth Drive resident found cigarette butts on the side of her house and by her patio.

Also, someone stole half of the plants next to the garage.

Police said it appears teens are cutting through the property and tossing their cigarettes.

Lights Show Vacant House is Trashed

A resident reported lights on in a vacant house in Saratoga Trail April 27.

Police found the house open and evidence people had been inside -- it was trashed, a report said.

Someone in Woods?

A Whitney Road resident found a full checkbook and an extra set of checks and believes someone is living in the woods behind his house.

Police turned over the items to the Cleveland Metroparks. Rangers said they would walked back into the woods to see if someone was, in fact, living there.
