Police and prosecutors say Klocek walked into La Chateau prior to opening Aug. 29, approached 58-year-old female employee and brandished a knife. He held the knife to the woman's throat, demanding money.

The victim handed over $325 cash. Klocek then forced her to sit in the restroom while he fled.

The woman waited a few minutes, then called police, who found the suspect walking one street away from the bar.

Klocek was in possession of the money when he was arrested.

On March 28, Klocek pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated robbery with notice of prior conviction specifications.

In a separate case, Klocek broke into an apartment on West 5th Street in Berea July 30 and stole a laptop computer and a xylophone.

Klocek also pleaded guilty on March 28 to one count of burglary. Gall sentenced him to one year in prison on that charge.
