Motorcycles to Roar Through Town Sunday

1,000 to take part in Firefighters Memorial Ride

Some 1,000 motorcyclists are expected to pass through Strongsville Sunday in the seventh annual Firefighters Memorial Ride.

The 45-mile ride will start at 11 a.m. near Cleveland Browns Stadium and head south on Pearl Road, looping through Parma, North Royalton, Strongsville, Middleburg Heights and Brook Park, passing 12 fire stations and ending at Harley Davidson, 14550 Lorain Ave. in Cleveland.

The procession will leave leave Pearl Road in Parma Heights at York Road, then will follow W. Ridgewood and Ridge roads to Royalton Road. It will head west on Royalton to Valley Parkway and follow that into Berea.

Police escorts will accompany the riders.

The ride has donated to 22 families and groups over the last seven years.
