Also on Sunday, the Cleveland Metroparks called to say someone had tied a rottweiler-boxer mix to a tree and left it.

Ghouls Gone Wild

A "haunted" house on Pine Tree Place disturbed a neighbor, who said the loud Halloween music was disturbing him about 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police said the music was a little loud and spoke with the homeowner, who agreed to turn it down.

The report also noted that the house had a very nice Halloween display and the neighborhood kids were enjoying it.

Loud Boom

A resident on Ellsworth Drive reported hearing a loud boom about a dozen houses away early Sunday.

The noise was reported about 12:40 a.m.

Police checked the area, but found nothing out of the ordinary.

Not Mail

A resident of The Bluffs complained Saturday evening that a dark-colored car was going mailbox-to-mailbox and someone was putting political information inside.

It's illegal to put items like that in mailboxes, the caller said.

Police couldn't locate the vehicle.
