Eggs Not Just a Nuisance

Two residents reported kids hurled eggs at their houses.

On Nov. 6, a Stoney Point Drive resident said one of the eggs thrown at her house damaged a shutter.

And about 5:45 p.m. Nov. 8, a Savannah Court resident heard a noise and saw a car speed away.

She later saw two eggs had been thrown at the house, and one put a hole in a screen.

Drunken Drive-Through

An alert employee at Taco Bell called police about a man in the drive-through who appeared to be intoxicated about 11:15 p.m. Nov. 8.

A report said the man almost hit the curb and had to back up, then was yelling and slurring his words when he tried to order food.

Police stopped the man, who lives on Raccoon Trail, and arrested him for operating a vehicle while impaired. He will face a felony charge, the report said.

Handgun on the Road

A motorist reported seeing a handgun on Royalton Road near the entrance to Giant Eagle about 2:30 p.m. Nov. 6.

The caller couldn't tell if it was a toy or real.

Police found it was an air-soft gun and took it to their property room.
