Police Blotter: Burglary, Mischief and a $60,000 Debt is Not a Scam

The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

A Strongsville woman complained to police Aug. 28 that she had been the victim of a scam since January -- one that had racked up $60,000 to $62,000 worth of debt on her credit card.

Police looked into the matter and determined there was no scam.

A report said the charges were from business propositions in which the woman was paying companies to run her new firm, which has not yet shown a profit.
