A man tried to rob the at 10925 Prospect Rd. Thursday afternoon, but ran off when a customer entered the store.
A report said the man came in about 12:20 p.m., told the clerk he had a gun and pulled something black out of his pocket.
He went over the counter to get into the register, but then ran out the door instead when a male customer cme into the store.
The would-be robber was described as about 25, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and very skinny. He was wearing all black, including a hoodie and a hat.
Police checked the surrounding area, but could not locate him.
Someone reported that a goose was down, with unknown injuries, in the roadway in front of March 26.
An officer found the goose had an injured foot, but was standing and walking.
A Helping Paw
Police found a mastiff in the area of Misty Lake Drive March 27 and the animal wardent was unavailable, so the officer took the pup home for the night.
A report said he was able to locate the owners on South Red Oak and returned the pup to them.
Two large bags and a suitcase were reported in front of a Westwood Drive apartment building about 10:45 p.m. March 29.
Police found the suitcase was empty and the bags filled with women's clothing. They were being donated to a charity and were awaiting pickup in the morning.
Expensive Spare Parts
A thief took apart an air condtioner at Jeff Ellis' International Karate on Pearl Road the night of March 27 and stole the condenser, a report said.
