Visitor Screams at Woman

A neighbor asked police to check on an elderly woman on Raccoon Trail Sept. 16 after a visitor started screaming at her.

Police found both the resident and guest fine. A report said they are both hard of hearing and both have loud voices.

The officer could hear them talking through the open windows when he pulled up.

Trash Theft

A witness reported someone take his neighbor's recyclables from the tree lawn about 10 a.m. Sept. 14.

The incident took place on Elm Drive.

Loud Party, Stumbling Guests

Police were called to Kingswood Court twice in the early morning hours Sept. 15 -- first about 2:15 a.m. because of a loud party, and a half hour later when a group of guests, apparently intoxicated, argued about who was going to drive home.

After police visited the first time, the host agreed to move the party inside.

But a neighbor called again to say five men were stumbling around and urinating in the bushes as they fought over who would drive.

Two men ran away when officers arrived.

Police cited three of the vehicles -- two for blocking the sidewalk and a third for night parking on the street.

Drunk and Disorderly

Police cited an Albion Road man about 2:45 a.m. Sept. 14 after a Woodhurst Drive resident saw him sitting on a tree lawn.

The man had been involved in a fight with two other people, who drove off and left him there.

Officers cited him for disorderly conduct while intoxicated before driving him home.
