Police Blotter: Driver Turns Around in Driveway, Takes Souvenir
The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department
A Fair Road woman watched as a blue Ford Explorer pulled into her driveway -- apparently to turn around -- then backed right into her mailbox.
The incident happened about 7:45 a.m. April 20.
A report said there was no way the driver didn't realize he or she had taken down both the mailbox and newspaper box, but continued in his/her way without stopping.

Double Burglary?
A Whitney Road woman came home about 2:30 a.m. April 20 to find her ex-boyfriend had broken into her apartment about.

She went to another unit to call police, but found the door locked when she returned.
The woman said her ex had returned and broken in a second time and locked her out -- she said papers and the bed were in disarray.
But police said it appeared she had simply locked herself out.
Regardless, the ex, who lives in Elyria, was arrested for the initial break-in.
Fight in Progress
Police were called to the parking lot of Slim & Chubby's about 11 p.m. April 21 because about 20 people were allegedly fighting in the parking lot.
Officers called an ambulance for a man with a head laceration who was awake, but had reportedly been unconscious.
One person was arrested.
First Clue: Throwing Up Out Window
Police saw a car stopped on Royalton Road about 12:30 a.m. April 21 and noticed a girl hanging out the window, vomiting.
Officers discovered the two underage passengers in the car were intoxicated, while the driver was sober.
They delivered the girls to their parents to handle the situation and warned the driver about stopping in traffic.
