Residents on Pearl Road spotted someone dumping trash at the edge of their property Nov. 18 and went to police with the litterer's license plate number.
Officers contacted the owner, who said his wife was cleaning the windows in her SUV and threw the used paper towels and moist cloths inot the wooded area.
He went out to the site, picked up the trash and apologized.
Two Vehicles Stolen in Two Days
A Volkswagon Passat was reported stolen from the Costco parking lot about 5:50 p.m. Nov. 16.
The next morning, a resident of Marks Road South said his Ford Explorer was missing from his driveway.

Passersby repored a red vehicle with a camera mounted on top following two motorcycles as they weaveed in and out of traffic southbound on I-71 about 3:20 p.m. Nov. 18.
The cycles were going about 90 mph, a report said.
Because of traffic around the mall, the nearest officer said he would never make it to the highway in time and instead alerted the Ohio Highway Patrol.
Several callers reported people yelling and breaking things in an apartment on Cherry Tree Drive at 3:30 a.m. Nov. 18.
Police went in through an unlocked door and found a woman hiding in a closet. They took her outside, then went back in and found a man hiding in another closet.
He was arrested for domestic violence. The woman said he was trashing his apartment, but didn't hit her.
A break-in on Ridgeline Court was reported Nov. 18, while the homeowners were out of town.
A report said the intruder got in through the back door.
