Police Blotter: Man Exposes Himself in Store

The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

Employees at called police about 5 a.m. Dec. 3 after an intoxicated man allegedly exposed himself to a clerk in the women's section.

When police arrived, the man was outside. He went to his car and started it, leading to a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired.

The man, 38, who lives in Brunswick, was uncooperative during booking, Detective Lt. John Janowski said. In addition to OVI and indecent exposure, he also faces charges of obstructing official business and possession of drug paraphernalia.

More Damage to Lights

A North Wood Drive resident said Dec. 2 that someone has cut his Christmas lights again.

It's the third time it's happened in the last week.

Wrapping Up Some Mischief

Some young vandals stretched plastic wrap across the road at Echo Drive and Walnut Creek.

Police were asked to check the area about 9:20 p.m. Dec. 3 and found no other mischief.

Dog Bites Dog

A Strongsville woman called for help finding her dog, but it was too late -- the pup had already attacked another dog.

An Ashford Court resident's dog was reportedly attacked by a yellow lab wearing a red bandanna about 9:20 a.m. Dec. 4. 

The animal warden picked up the lab and contacted the owner.

Tires Flattened

A Beech Creek Trail man woke up Dec. 3 to find all four of his car's tires flattened.

The valve stems were removed from the tires, a report said.
