Police Blotter: Odd Reason Man is Driving Recklessly; Woman Lying in Parking Lot

The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

 

A passerby called police about 3 p.m. Jan. 23 to report a man driving recklessly on Pearl Road.

The reason? There were a lot of dogs in the car and they were licking his face, the caller said.

Police couldn't located the pup-filled vehicle.

Intoxicated Person

Someone saw a woman in her 30s, holding a bottle of liquor, lying in a parking lot on Falling Water Road about midnight Jan. 23.

The witness saw the woman get up and start walking toward Towers of Falling Water, the report said.

Police found tracks in the snow that confirmed she made it into the building.

Flashing Lights?

A motorist waiting on Shurmer Road for the light at Howe to change said that instead of turning green, it flashed something, then went back to red.

The call came in about 8:30 a.m. Jan. 23.

An officer said he sat through seven cycles and the light was working fine.
