Police Blotter: Officers Look for 'King of Pop' on Bike; Slow Driver Nabbed; Bloody Clothing Reported

The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

A man who appeared to be in his 40s was riding a bicycle near an Albion Road playground Friday evening, singing Michael Jackson songs at the top of his voice.

A witness at , 20566 Albion Rd., called police about 7 p.m. to say the man, wearing black clothing and a hat, was "acting weird."

The man had ridden away when police arrived. The officer checked the area, but couldn't see or hear him.

What Gave Her Away?

A driver was pulled over about 2:15 a.m. Friday after police found her driving 28 mph on I-71.

A report said the woman did not stop right away and had reached 32 mph when she finally pulled to the side of the road.

She was found to have a blood-alcohol content of .129 and was charged with Operating a Vehicle while Impaired, weaving, slow speed and open container.

Eggs-tra Warnings

Police were called to about 4 p.m. Sunday after someone saw some teens carrying items onto the roof.

Police spoke with several boys who said they were practicing a science experiment having to do with dropping eggs from a high place without breaking them.

They were told to practice elsewhere.

Suspicious Clothing

A passing motorist reported an article of clothing on Pearl Road Friday, possibly a windbreaker, that was apparently covered in blood.

Police retrieved the item, a child's one-piece, from in front of and found no blood.

Hunting on Howe

A Howe Road resident reported hearing gunshots about 3:15 p.m. Sunday and seeing three men carrying rifles in the woods being her house.

When she yelled to them, they ran.

The woman said the shots were too loud to be from BB or paintball guns. She also said she has found shell casings in her yard in the past.

Police could not track down the men in the woods.
