Police got an unusual call from a Benbow Road resident March 2 when he woke up to find some sort of animal in a container on his porch -- and blood nearby.
A report said the incident stemmed from the man's wife feeding stray cats.
It appeared a cat was attacked by an opossum, which was still in the cat house on the porch.
An officer moved the opossum to the woods. The residents dismantled the house/feeding station.
Hacker Calls
A Forest Point Place resident told police someone may be trying to access his computer remotely.
The man said he has received three calls from someone asking if they could access his computer.
He said no, but asked police to check out the situation.
Oops -- Another Hacker Issue
A Strongsville woman said she was being threatened by her husband after he hacked into her emails and discovered evidence of two affairs she had.
The woman wanted the threats documented.
Women Trapped in Car
Police shut down West 130th Street around the Turnpike bridge about 6:30 p.m. March 1 after a two-car collision left two women trapped in one of the vehicles.
Callers reported one woman outside her vehicle, bleeding from her head, with two people still trapped in the other car.
Firefighters brought extrication tools to the scene and were able to get the one woman, who had suffered head injuries and was experiencing chest pains, out of the vehicle about 7 p.m.
Another was removed from the car about 7:07 p.m. Both were taken to Southwest General.
