Police Blotter: Peeping Tom Returns; Clowns on Bikes

The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

 

A Woodhaven Drive woman told police a man keeps looking through her window.

An Oct. 3 report said the woman had seen the man outside her window about a week earlier, and later found a cigarette butt where he'd been standing.

A few days later, the man was there again and she found another cigarette.

On Oct. 3, someone put an orange lei on her lightpost.

Police said they would keep an eye on the neighborhood.

Clowning Around

Some kids wearing clown masks were running around a parking lot on West 130th Street near Bennett's Corners about 7:45 p.m. Oct. 2.

Police caught up with one youth, who admitted some of his friends were goofing around.

They agreed to head home for the night.

Theft from Auto

A Glencreek Lane man said someone stole his container of 60 Adderall pills from his unlocked vehicle the night of Sept. 28.

Phone Mystery

A Whitney Road resident discovered her cell phone was missing, and was shocked when a tracker traced it to a yard on Oxford Drive.

A report said the woman had been home with the doors locked all day and didn't know how it could have gotten there.

Police said they would follow up to see if a theft had taken place.

Hitching a Ride

A Florida man told police he was cold, wet and intoxicated and just trying to get to King Coe Lane.

Police found the man walking up Stoney Hill about 1:30 a.m. Oct. 2.

Officers dropped him off his his friend's house, where he was staying.
