Police called an ambulance to check the driver for injuries and a tow truck to remove the car.

Mom Locked Out

A woman called for help April 9 after her small child locked her out of their car on Pearl Road.

A report said the boy had the keys in his hand.

He eventually pushed the button and let Mom back in the car.

Strange Marks on Street

A Squirrel Hollow resident told police his neighbor put 60 feet of hash marks on the curb of the street and wrote "this is mine" on one section.

Police found the dashes were made in front of several houses, and one part marked "ours."

Officers called the Service Department and learned city crews -- not a neighbor -- had marked the street in preparation for concrete work.

Car Spin-Out

A motorist on I-71 reported seeing a car on northbound 71 spin out and slide into a ditch about 9:15 a.m. April 11.

The vehicle would be difficult or impossible to see from the roadway, she said.

Police located the car and found it wasn't damaged and the driver was not injured. He had already called a tow truck.
