Police Blotter: That's No Vandal, it's a Car Thief Who Can't Drive

The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

When a Timber Edge Place man was awakened by some loud bangs about 4 a.m. Dec. 26, he saw a red car had hit a neighbor's mailbox.

But it was no simple case of vandalism.

When police contacted the owners on Fallingwater Road, they said their son usually drives the car. The son went to the scene, though, and said had not been in the vehicle.
