The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

A Drake Road resident called police Halloween night when her 11-year-old son came home from trick-or-treating with a can of beer.

The boy pointed out the house where he received the beer.

Police spoke with a resident, who said when she arrived home, there were 10 or 15 kids at her house without permission. They took off running when she arrived.

More Halloween Mischief

Two kids who smashed pumpkins on Ellsworth Drive about 9 p.m. on Halloween didn't get away with their prank.

A resident told police her husband followed the pair after they threw the pumpkins at her car.

He made them come back and clean up the mess. The car wasn't damaged.

And One More For the Road

Someone complained that a large group of people gathered at the corner of Killians Grove and Colleen Court about 7:30 p.m. on Halloween because someone was giving out alcohol to people driving by.

Police spoke with a resident who said he saw a group of people hanging out, but did not see any suspicious behavior. The group had disbanded when police arrived.

Oops, Never Mind

A Winding Trail woman got nervous when she came home Nov. 1 and found a package on her porch without her name or address on it.

Police found the package was, in fact, addressed to the woman. It was something she had ordered.
