Santa Hunters

Residents on Hampton Chase and Parkwood Lane reported kids in a loud car shooting paintballs at Santas in their yard about 8:30 p.m. Monday.

And More Mischief

Also Monday evening, someone egged a house on Beechwood Lane.

Earlybird Shoppers Ruffle Feathers

Someone waiting in line at at 6 a.m. Dec. 23 asked police to settle some rowdiness as shoppers waited to get into the mall.

Police found about 20 people waiting. Mall security was not letting anyone in unless they were in a single-file line and acting appropriately.

They were then escorting them to to wait until the store opened.

Holiday Parking Woes

People visiting Montclare Boulevard Christmas Eve parked on both sides of the road, blocking traffic.

A report said only a few people were parked on the correct side of the street, while most were on the hydrant side.

The officer was unable to contact all the owners of illegally parked cars, but was able to get the few legally parked cars to move to the wrong side so the street was accessible.

More Holiday Joy

Six kids in a Saturn were swerving all over the road, throwing things out of the car and mooning people about 7:40 p.m. Monday, a report said.

A motorist told police he was on Royalton Road at Prospect Road when he heard a car horn, looked over and someone mooned him and his 14-year-old daughter.

He followed the car until police stopped it. The man did not seek charges but wanted the boys and their parents warned.
