Police Blotter: Women Get in Tug-of-War over Feeding Geese; 4 Car Break-ins

The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

A disagreement over feeding geese turned into an alleged assault when two women got into a tug-of-war with a bag of bread July 12.

A report said a family was walking by the lake on South Red Rock Drive about 6 p.m. when they saw a woman and her daughter feeding geese.

The man told the woman it was illegal to feed them, but the woman "got an attitude" and started throwing bread crumbs on him and his wife, the report said.
