Pornography Blows into Yard; Horn-Honking Nets Citation: Police Blotter

An Albion Road man told police he is tired of his neighbor's garbage blowing into his yard.
On March 19, he said pornographic books blew onto his lawn and he asked police to document it.

Noisy Picketing Issues

Police were called several times in recent days to the scene of picketing Strongsville teachers.
On March 18, a Royalton Road woman who lives near a picket line said the noise of the teachers blowing whistles as they walk has become "unbearable" -- especially because it's doubtful passing motorists can even hear them.
Police told the teachers the whistles were causing a noise disturbance and they agreed to stop.
On March 20, a woman drove in front of a Stoughton Drive house where picketing teachers were gathered about 6 p.m. and repeatedly honked her car's horn.
She was cited for improper use of horn.
Suspicious Situation
A Woodview Circle resident couldn't get her key to work in her lock March 19 and discovered a piece of metal inside.
The resident was concerned someone had tried to get in the house.
Disturbing Call
A woman staying at the La Siesta Inn on Pearl Road March 20 got a call from an unknown man saying, "I am watching you and I'm coming in," a report said.
The asked police to escort her to a new room, but then changed her mind and said she was not staying at the motel.
