Screaming Man; Another Burglary Attempt: Police Blotter
The following information was provided by the Strongsville Police Department
A Glendale Avenue man reported hearing a man screaming about 9:45 p.m. May 6.
Police were able to locate a man screaming from an upstairs bedroom of a house, but no one would come to the door.

Burglary Attempt

A Greenbrier Drive resident came home from work about 6:30 p.m. May 7 to find someone had tampered with the screens on his front window.
No entry was made, but neighbors have reported similar incidents, he said.
Odd Situation
Police found a car in the parking lot in front of Pier 1 with both passenger doors standing open about 5:45 p.m. May 7.
Officers checked in the store, but couldn't locate the driver, and also tried calling the owner on the phone.
The officer finally closed the doors and left a business card with a note to call the police department.
Bottle Bomb -- Again
A Fox Grove resident said a bottle bomb exploded in her yard about 9:20 p.m. May 7.
It was the second time it's happened in a month, a report said.
Big Show
An Albion Road resident was alerted by American Express that someone changed the e-mail on her account and tried to charge $1,700 to Ticketmaster.
Squatter
It appears someone has been living in a storage room of a Pearl Road office building.
The owner said she has found items rearranged.
Police said they would keep an eye on it at night.
