Strange Object in the Sky; Man Just Wants Wife to Stop Talking: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Strongsville Police Department

A man called police about 1 a.m. Oct. 7 to report that he and his girlfriend had seen what appeared to be a large orange ball of fire moving very slowly across the sky.

They were at Pearl and Whitney roads, and it was moving toward West 130th Street, the report said.

Make It Stop

A Pearl Road man called police to help with a domestic dispute about 4 a.m. Oct. 8.

No violence was involved. The man told police his wife was intoxicated and wouldn't stop talking to him. 

He asked police to help convince her to go to bed.

Indecent Exposure

A Willow Wood Drive resident told police a man in red pajama pants exposed himself to her in her driveway about 7:15 a.m. Oct. 9.

The man was also wearing a black jacket and black ski mask, the report said.

Masked Aggressor

Employees at Walmart reported a raccoon in the parking lot was chasing customers shortly after midnight Oct. 9.

Police checked, but couldn't find the critter.

Misbehaving at Library

A woman was thrown out of the Strongsville Library Oct. 8 after her three young children acted inappropriately and she wouldn't discipline them.

The woman reportedly told employees it was their father's turn to watch them.

Employees couldn't locate the father in the building.
