Strongsville Police Blotter: Barking Dog Needs to Use his Indoor Voice

The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

Residents on Meadow Lane called police at 3:30 a.m. June 25 about a dog that had been barking for three solid hours.

Police located the dog, but it wasn't in the yard -- it was in the house. The barking could be clearly heard through the open window.

A officer speculated the dog was barking at the cats in the house. No one answered the door when police knocked.

A similar situation was reported two days earlier on Hearthstone Drive, when police responded to a barking dog complaint at 4:30 a.m. and found that dog, too, was in the house.

A few minutes before the call June 25 on Meadow Lane, police were also called to Golden Star Drive, where a barking dog was actually outside.

No one answered the door, so the officer had dispatchers call the residents and tell them to come to the door. They did and took the dog in the house.

Police spoke with the stalker, who denied making the calls but agreed to stay away from the other woman.
