Strongsville Police Blotter: Man Sees Stolen Watch on Craig's List, Caller Hangs Up on Police

The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

A man called 911 about 8:30 p.m. July 25, said he was outside of , then angrily hung up, a report said.

Police couldn't find anyone outside the department store, and Macy's security officers said nothing unusual had been going on.

Stealthy Burglary

A Greenbrier Drive man didn't realize his house had been burglarized until he started noticing things missing.

He told police July 25 he first noticed his GPS was missing, the next day he found his camera missing and the next, his video camera.

There was no forced entry to the house.

Nighttime Mischief

Kids put a table and garbage can in the middle of the street on Albion Road at the railroad tracks about 2 a.m. July 25.

An officer removed them.

Hey, That's Mine

A Royalton Road man told police his watch was stolen July 5.

On July 26, he said he saw it advertised for sale on Craig's List.

Loud Party

Police were called to Prairie Meadows Place about 12:30 a.m. July 26 about a loud party with at least 20 screaming kids.

When officers pulled up, the garage door was open, a bunch of kids were outside and the music was loud. When they saw the cruisers, they ran into the house and closed the garage door.

A woman then pulled in, said she was house-sitting and would take care of the problem.
