Strongsville Police Blotter: Skinny Dipping in Pool Caught on Video

The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

Managers at Royalton Greens apartments on Royalton Road called police to check on people swimming in the pool about 10:40 p.m. Aug. 8.

They have video of people sometimes going into the pool naked. A report said they weren't sure if these were the same people.

Police advised the couple in the pool that night about wearing bathing suits, in case they were the ones.

Duct Tape Trouble

A motorist on Ellsworth Drive at Waterford Parkway told police kids put duct tape on barrels across the road.

She said she hit it with her car about 11 p.m. Aug. 8 and heard kids running into the woods.

Stolen Car

An employee at came out about 9 p.m. Aug. 8 to find her car had been stolen.

The 2000 Mitsubishi Galant had been parked by the upper level JC Penney doors.

Wonder What They were Up To?

A Saratoga Trail woman found a backpack in her shrubbery Aug. 9.

Police found the pack was full of water balloons.

Woman Doesn't Need Enemies

A Pearl Road woman told police a former friend is making false accusations about her since they had a falling out two months ago.

She's had pizzas delivered to her house and was investigated by Children and Family Services after an anonymous complaint.

Couple Charged with Endangering Kids

An anonymous caller told police a couple at a Pearl Road motel frequently drink and pass out.

The caller said Aug. 10 that both were asleep that night, leaving a baby in the room and two other kids under age 6 running in the parking lot and by the pool.

Police contacted the woman's mother to pick up the kids and charged both the man and woman with child endangering.
