Strongsville Police Blotter: Teen Goes to Hospital After Smoking K2

Also, kids are out making mischief and man is duct taped to his wheelchair

A 16-year-old girl called for help April 9 after smoking K2, a product known as and getting sick.

The girl was at about 1:40 p.m. when she said she felt like she was "dead and in a dream," a report said. The girl was also walking in circles and very cold.

K2 is marketed as herbal incense, but users often roll it into cigarettes and smoke it to produce a marijuana-like high. But unlike pot, it's not the vegetable matter that produces the high -- it's chemicals the leaves have been treated with.

Kids called it a "legal high," but no more. The chemicals have recently been banned, making K2 and similar products illegal.

The girl was taken to Southwest General Health Center for treatment and could face drug abuse charges.
