Thieves Looking for Purses in Cars Aren't Fooled

Women think they're hiding their handbags, but they're really not

There are certain places women tend to leave their purses in the car -- to exercise, at parks, at church.

Thieves are well aware of that.

"It happens a lot at funeral homes, and at parks," Detective Lt. John Janowski said. "People know women don't want to take their purses with them if they're going for a walk."
