Woman Lets Alleged Phone Solicitors into House, Learns it was Bad Call

The following information was provided by the Strongsville police department

A Peppercreek Drive woman who took pity on a pair of solicitors now has to change the locks in her house.

A report said two men visited the woman's home three times on Saturday, claiming to be from AT&T and trying to sell her a contract.

The third time, she let them in to use the bathroom. She later realized her keys were missing.

She told police they also asked her for her bank account number, but she did not give it to them.

A report said both men appeared to be in their 30s. One was black and had a ponytail; the other was tall and white.
