Roadside Demonstration

Employees at Sheetz called police shortly before midnight May 19 after a group of about five teens set up lawn chairs at the corner of Prospect and Royalton Roads and yelled "white power" at passing traffic.

Customers were complaining about the group, a report said.

Police found four to five pickup trucks parked in the lot. The teens got in them and left, the report said.

Uh, It's Not Mine

A guy who lost his wallet at SouthPark Mall should have been happy someone found it and turned it in to police -- except for that there was marijuana in it.

Police told the owner's mother he should contact the detective bureau to get the wallet back.

Mask Must Have Slipped

Police found a raccoon with a problem May 16 on Foltz Parkway -- the poor guy had a jar stuck on its head.

Officers were able to help, though. "The big critter was saved," a report said.

Just Resting

Witnesses told police a man was sleeping on the Strongsville Library grounds about 10 a.m. May 18.

Officers spoke with the man, who said he just got there and was resting because he'd been up all night. Police didn't observe him doing anything improper.

What Baby?

A passerby reported seeing an abandoned baby carriage on Howe Road at Polo Club Drive about 9 a.m. May 14.

The caller said it looked like a doll was inside, but asked police to make sure it was only a doll.

Police couldn't locate the carriage at all.
